Review: Hmmm. I wanted to see this film and for what its worth I had heard some rave reviews about it.
To say the acting was dire - would be incorrect, Jude Law and all the other actors/actoresses potrayed there characters very amiably. The cineamatics were very retro (note reference back to original film perhaps?), which helped potray the film as a quirky cheeky non-romantic film. The story and script let the overall picture of the film down badly, when I thought that it was to end, it didn't. Then when it finally reached the climax (and ended) you had the 'I've realised i've made mistakes' speech, very abrupt and could've been worked on from this point.
Steer clear if you are wanting a classic film with a happy, all out glorious ending. |
