Review: Ok...there are about a thousand reviews for the Apple iPod MP3 player, all along the same lines as mine so I'll be short. iPODS are good. They're fun, they're versatile, they make you feel good about owning one, simply because IT'S AN iPOD!!!!
Ok, it's quiet, the battery is rubbish, the earphones aren't much cop (personally, they hurt my ears after about 45 mins - but this is just me saying that) AND IT DOESN'T PLAY WMA!!! It only plays mp3. So there. As a piece of kit, I think it deserves about four stars.I'd happily own one...save one reason... IT'S NOT THE BEST THERE IS... OR THE CHEAPEST!! Got it? Really, you can't exactly go wrong with this...it's perfectly workable and does its job (except the battery). But what's the actual point? For £150 you can get a Creative Zen 20GB with touch scroll, which does the same thing, only louder, longer, and for a lower price. If you buy this, you aren't doing much wrong, and may simply want the thrill of owning an Ipod. But really, if you actually pay £200 quid for this, you show no sense of reason what-so-ever. OR are very rich and smoke money-wrapped tobacco. Either one. (Software's pretty bad too - for windows anyway) |
