Review: My Apple iPod 20GB U2 MP3 player arrived from Amazon this afternoon & it's absolutely beautiful. All the fantastic features you get with the normal 4th Generation 20GB iPod, but it looks so much better (to me) in the new colours. I chose the special-edition purely for the colour scheme, so unless you are prepared to pay a premium for the looks - or are going to use the coupon against The Complete U2 - then there's nothing gained here over the regular iPods. The black finish has an incredible lustre - it's almost like it's 'underpainted' black beneath a glossy, glass-like finish. The pictures on the web don't do it justice at all, so if you are at all tempted by it, then go and find one to pickup & ogle. Well worth the £37 premium in my view . . . |
