Review: Had the Apple iPod mini for about a week now, and I've got to say, it's by far one of the best mp3 players I've come across. The scroll wheel is a great feature, with just the slightest touch needed to scroll through songs, playlists etc. The software provided, iTunes, is very simple to set up and use, and transferring songs is a breeze. Extra features on the mini like the games, notes, contacts list etc are very handy, especially Music Quiz, one of the four games. One problem I've come across is charging the mini. I turn it off, connect the charger into the port on the bottom, then as it starts to charges, it seems unsure whethers it's on or not. The apple logo is present, like when it powers up, but then it takes awhile before displaying the main screen. This obviously slows down charging time dramatically when it is on the whole time, so make sure it is switched off fully before leaving it to charge. Otherwise, the iPod mini is great product and I would definately encourage anyone interested to buy one |
