Review: Considering the price of the Apple iPod Mini 4GB MP3 player, the point of buying this absolute piece of rubbish remains to be seen. The looks are boring in my opinion, not everyone likes their MP3 player to be plain silver with a small screen and a circle on the front. Simplicity isn't neccessarily good design. It also has poor battery life, poor customer service, and, frankly, despite some peopels claims, the sound quality is by no means "amazing." Most people who think their mini iPod is so amazing are people who have never listened to other players. A ?2k stereo is not a reason for someones comments to be more relevant than anybody else, either. And to be honest, a mid range ?2k stereo doesn't really represent cutting edge sound. Try lsitening to Linn ;-). The iPod is also a problem because of its desiribility. If you lvie in one of the rougher areas of the country, you will be instantly recognised as owning this by the bright white in ear headphones, making you a target for theft and assault. If you do insist on this player, replace the headphones for better qualtiy and less chance of theft. Or, jsut buy a different MP3 player. Pros Easy track navigation, large HDD size Cons Terrible battery life Average sound quality Risk of theft/assault due to desiribility Cost Bad customer Service |
