Review: I was looking for a new mp3 player after owning a shuffle, which got a bit tedious after a while because selecting a track was impossible. I was torn between buying an ipod mini 4GB for ?140 or a Sony NW-HD3 for ?150. Both seemed equally good, but after reading online reviews untill my eyes bled, i decided to get the mini. I am very pleased with my choice and don't regret a thing. The player itself is tiny, stylish and gives great sound quality. (iTunes is also awesome. Much better than 'sonicstage' which apparantly crashes when u try to use it.) I read in alot of reviews that people had complaints about the sound volume, that it was too low. This is not true. I downloaded 2 programs before i bought it to enhance the volume, expecting it to be restricted, only to find that the volume is great, it goes as loud as you need. The mini is also very light and compact, a worthy replacement of the shuffle for use during exercise. If you are torn between the NW-HD3 or the mini as i was, if u decide on the mini, then u wont be dissapointed. |
