Review: The iPod nano will leave you breathless, only when you actually see the player for yourself can you understand the extent of it's brilliance. It is tiny! Looks wise it is unrivalled, so to is it for the 4gb of memory, never before seen on a flash player, and it goes without saying that for usability it is second to none. It is essentially a fully functioning iPod Colour, with only a few minor differences in features. The menu and click wheel are the same as those we know and love from previous iPods, as is the sound quality. I have found the stated battery life of 14 hours to be an understatment as i managed much more (yes, thats more) from mine after just its second charge, more in the region of 18 hours! My only problem with the nano is that the headphone jack is on the bottom of the player, this is to allow the nano to be worn on a lanyard, however as i am not planning on doing so this means the nano is upside down in my pocket, not ideal but definately no major problem. The black is such a good look, only wish apple had supplied black headphones as opposed to the standard signiture white earbuds! Must buy, well the worth the price! |
