Review: I bought a 4GB Apple iPod nano following previous posts here saying that if you keep it in a protective case then it would stay scratch-free. I thought this was good advice as other people complaining of scratches. I purchased a set of the tubes to go with the iPod and after keeping it in one of the tubes and uploading all of my CD collection to it, lo-and-behold, scratches on the screen. The installation was also problematic as it locked up after connecting the iPod to my PC when prompted and the printed instructions (and the included pdf file) to reset the iPod were incorrect (luckily the ones on the website were correct) Apart from scratches and the iffy installation, it's got good sound quality and it's easy to use and fits well in your pocket (even when it's in a not-so-protective case). The 4GB model has eaten through most of my CD collection with a few obscure CD's left off so no complaints on space either. Another |
