Review: The Apple iPod nano is stunningly beautiful weighing only 42 grams, pencil thin and holding around 1,000 songs. The ipod nano has a crystal clear 1.5 ich colour screen, which is ideal for veiwing the photos the ipod can hold or even just the album artwork of the song you are currently playing. The apple ipod nano is flash memory therefore unlike the nano's bigger brothers there are no moving parts so the nano is completly skip free. The nano has a 14 hour battery life of which you can get 80% capacity from a 1 hour fast cgarge. The ipod nano comes with 4 inbuilt games ideal for the boring times you are waiting for a train. The nano is pc and mac compatible. Inside the box you get a usb lead, software, a dock adaptor and the white apple earbud earphones. just like the ipod mini and the shuffle before it you do not get the mains charger with it. Therfore when you buy the ipod the only way of charging is through a usb2 port on your computer. If you dont have usb2 or just want a wall charger an apple usb power adaptor will set you back around £19 pounds. Team the ipod nano up with the many accesories around such as the lanyard headphones, nano tubes ( a protective case for the ipod nano) or of course the nano dock ( to allow upright charging or synching to a hifi) and you will never look back. the minute you pick up the nano for the first time you will be smitten its tiny and of course the black colouring finishes it of nicely. Unfortunatly though as usual with ipods the only things i can criticise with the nano is lack of fm radio and the lack of a wall charger. If you can overlook these things and want an mp3 player that is easy to use, has stunning sound quality and is so stylish your heart will melt when you see it then the ipod nano is for you. |
