Review: I was thoroughly impressed with the compact, sturdy design of the Apple ipod nano. The iterface is as impressive as ever, being remarkably easy to navigate. The colour screen is suprisingly sharp and easy to read. I am amazed that they mananged to fit 4GB into such a small device. The placement of the headphone jack on the bottom of the device is actually more practical than previous placements becuase you take it out of your pocket and use it straight away istead of pulling it out your pocket and turning it over (if you buy it you will see what i mean). The battery life is adequate but not amazing and the sound quality is excellent, being louder and crisper than before.I was slightly disappointed by the lack of firewire support which had been included on previous models and the lack of a case. On a negative note, the nano is easy to stratch but this is remedied by the excellent nano tubes. As for broken screens and class action suits, people should learn to take better care of expensive electrical equipment - I have had no such issues. The ipod nano is the best in its class and sets the standard for compact MP3 players. |
