Review: I bought an Apple iPod shuffle 1GB MP3 player last week to accompany my 4G iPod. I will tell you straight, don't buy this thing if you want to get an mp3 player to take on holiday or something like that. It is a machine to be used on a day-to-day basis. I myself load up a different playist onto it everyday and just listen to it on random all the time. That's what it's for. For trips and things I take my proper iPod. If you are planning to use this for a frequently varying portable playist however, then it is the dog's danglers. So small. So easy to carry around. The lanyard provided I first thought was a bit lame but I later discovered it is anything but that. No more bulging pockets, have this thing tucked under your shirt, so small its hardly noticable. The battery life is superb and the controls are simple and brilliant. But best of all is the fact that for the first time ever with an iPod (without buying more stuff) it is possible (with the lanyard) to stroll around listening to your iPod wearing nothing but your birthday suit! I rest my case. |
