Review: I've suffered from chronic sinusitis for the last 16 years, had 3 operations and have been told by the doctors that I "have an allergy" but they cannot find what it is. Every morning I wake with one side of my nose completely blocked with creaking and clicking noises as I awake as the sinuses drain. I get very thick and sticky catarrh and often suffer well into the day before these symptoms relax. I bought one of these air purifiers for the bedroom and noticed an almost immediate change in air quality. Its been less than a week since we bought it and every morning I now wake brething clearly through my nose. The filters have already very noticeable signs of plenty of trapped dust, even though we keep our house very tidy and as dust free as possible. The noise is not very noticeable at all and hasn't disturbed our sleep one night. Its just a faint hum in the background, very much like an air conditioning fan in the bedroom on holiday. Even though its right next to the bed on my side and on the second setting, its fine and we sleep though it easily. Theres 2 filters on the airway - one can be washed when required and they suggest the other should be replaced every 6 months. I'm not sure what this replacement filter will cost yet. I'm just about to buy another unit for the living room and recommend this product highly if you have similar symptoms as me. Theres no doubt at all that we have benefited from this filter and only wish we had bought one long before now, especially at £40 each. |
