Review: Having read the poor reviews we chanced this Bionaire BWM5700 humidifier to help our toddler's eczema. As mentioned previously, when this product works, it's very good. It did help our son's condition. However after a couple of weeks the machine literally "blew up". If you live in a hard water area like London you need to clean the machine of limescale build up at least once a week, otherwise it will overheat. The second machine we received also worked well for a period of one week. However on refilling the water tank the handle completley snapped off under the weight sending 10 litres of water splashing all over our bathroom floor. I think this product maybe a discontinued line (for good reason) as you can pick one up on ebay brand new with no reserve. |
