Review: I bought my Bodum 5500-129 Ibis cordless kettle from Amazon a month ago, admittedly, what attracted me to the kettle is the fact it is pink lol however after doing some research into them, apparently, Bodum is a good brand, and at £19.97 on Amazon, it is a great price!

The kettle is cordless, with a base. This can be changed around to suit where the kettle is placed, however, it is best with the wire left as it is, as when moved the base is wobbly, and not very safe, especially if you have children.

It is a 1.7lL (12 cups) capacity, which is a lot more generous than most kettles on the market. It has a stainless steel element, and a built in water filter. It boils very quickly, and the kettle itself doesn't get as hot on the outside as some do. All in all, very good quality, it feels well made, and looks fabulous, especially with my other pink kitchen items!

Only bad thing I can think of is the lid; you must pull it up, and hold it up when filling the water in, as it will fall down. Not exactly bad, but my old kettle had a flip lid which stayed up itself.

This kettle gets 5 Stars ~ for looks, value, quality and performance. Recommended :-)
