Review: The title 'Bollocks to Alton Towers: Uncommonly British Days Out' is a misnomer as this isn't book isn't really concerned with railing against anything, rather its a witty, warmhearted peaen to a lost golden age - specifically the age of eight, when everything seemed interesting and we didn't need Americanised FUN rammed down our throats. Anyone with a heart and a day or two to spare (and ideally a companion) should buy this book. |
