Review: Breakdance has been a personal favourite of mine for a long time now. It is by far the most impressive film of its time and it itroduced the world to a whole new craze, street dancing. The film tells the tale of a jazz dancer who meets two breakdancers and set out to find fame with a big dance audition.
The film is rich with superb dance scenes and a pulsating hip hop/dance soundtrack which i remember made it to number 1 in the charts. The dvd is pretty cool, it has a handful of bios and interesting stuff about breakdancing and the hip hop world. If you have not yet seen this film and you love 80s cult classics, i suggest you pick it up. I thought i would never see it again until i came across it on Amazon.co.uk so thanks to them i know have one of my fave movies on dvd. A solid 5 star rating for the movie and to Amazon too. |
