Review: We recently bought this Breville JK15 Lightening kettle after a couple of years of a stainless steel top of the range De Longhi kettle. That one was noisy and slow, and difficult to fill. It was also hard for our daughter to lift the lid! This kettle has been a revelation to us. It is attractive to look at, easy to fill, and boils quickly. It has a see-through part to easy spot the water level - and is also internally illuminated with a soft blue light. There are red lights around the exterior to show when it is switched on to boil. An added feature of the kettle is a 'keep warm' button - upon selection, it will keep the water temperature at 77c until switched off again. It is easy to clean and maintain. I highly recommend it. |
