Good Points: Buffalo products come with a 2-year limited warranty from the date of purchase.
Works out-of-the-box.
Quiet.
Cool.
Bad Points: None..... Well the plastic feet do have a habit of staying on the desk when you move the drive .... but you can always "blutak" them on.
Tempted by Amazon's special offer of a Western Digital 250GB USB2 external hard drive for under £100 my research showed :-
