Review: The very first film that I ever saw as a child was Clamity Jane. I always remember it as wonderful and fantastic in every way imaginable but never saw it again until last year when I discovered it and watched it again. My memories of this film were exactly spot on. The wild characters of best friends Clamity and Bill who love life in Deadwood City, chasing Indians and drinking at the Golden Garter. Clamity who is still stuck in western times travels to modern Chicago to save a friend and his business. Brilliant acting and singing in this great musical. Starring Doris Day and Howard Keel.
