Review: The Canon IXUS i zoom is a very nice size camera, really stylish and takes very good pictures. All of the menus etc are straightforward and easy to use and the camera feels of high quality. There are also plenty of settings and configurations for playing about with. You will definately need a larger memory card for this camera - the supplied one is 16mb which doesn't hold nearly enough photos. I suggest 512mb, and make sure it's nice and fast so doesn't hold up the camera. Also the camera does not come with a case, I bought a leather one for about 20 quid which does the job pretty nicely. Apart from that everything I need came with the camera - docking station/charger, strap, battery etc. Battery hasn't run out yet so I can't comment on battery life. I like the fact that the battery charges up inside the camera and doesn't need a seperate charger. I was originally going to go for a 7mp sony, but it was larger and didn't seem to offer all the things I wanted. Also I've heard Canon's recommended many times. Really glad I went with this camera. Overall a great purchase. |
