Review Summary: Compact but don't take pictures with the flash!

Review: This Canon Ixus 50 camera is compact and lightweight. It takes good photo's in daylight. However a word of warning: It is absolutely useless when the flash is in use. Even though the camera can be set to prevent red-eye, it just does not work. The result of taking a picture of someone with blue or green eyes is a photo of a demon with red eyes. Some other low cost brands have the same problem, but considering the price and market position of Canon I am disappointed. Even Adobe photoshop has problems correcting the pictures.
