Review: I bought this Canon MV850i camcorder because I had an older Canon model that couldn't upload video direct to my Mac Mini. I checked various web sites looking for infromation and this one seemed about right. Good features, good price. The controls were very similar to my 6 year old mini-DV camera - so I found it very easy to use.

The only downside was that it didn't have a firewire cable with it. I happened to have one and, once it was plugged in, it just worked. You can upload video to iMovie, controlling the camera from there. The still's camera quality is nice too - it means that you don't need to carry a stills camera and a video camera when out and about.
