Review: I really wanted a digital camera but was worried about not being able to get one that was worth having i.e. taking decent pics, in my range range of approx £150. Then i saw the canon a300 and was pleasantly suprised. This is a very small camera yet takes superb shots. It has a host of features that you wouldnt expect on cameras sub £300! The only downside really imo is battery length. The supplied ones ran out in less than an hr for me :( So i would not get this camera unelss your prepered to buy some decent rechargable batteries. Having said that though i believe this goes for all cameras. Also dont be fooled by the 5.1x zoom it is digital meaning you can end up with grainy shots if your using full resoultion and quality at maximum zoom. I have now also purchased some rechargable batteries and a viking 128mb card to go with this camera and am very happy with it. |
