Review: I have always used compact 35mm cameras but have never got used to the idea that to take a good photo of a family member, you almost have to stand beside them. So its always been a case of 'you always stand too far away' and 'the people in the photo look too small.' With the S1, the optical zoom makes photos like these a thing of the past. Its not complicated to use and the picture quality is great. If you want a camera that the family can use but you can tinker with as well, then the Canon S1 is hard to beat. Build quality is good too. You'll be taking great photos the first time you use it. |
