Review: this Canon Powershot S70 is my first digital camera, took it on a trip to Egypt. the quality of the pictures, without any image processing were as good as the film SLR up to A4 prints. I since upgraded to the canon 20D, but the S70 still remains the choice for travel where weight is a consideration. + as an added bonus the camera cards are interchangeable between the two when used in tandem with the optional housing makes this camera a brilliant entry level all weather / underwater system. But external strobe connectors would be brilliant my only gripe is that the tripod stand insert is not centred with the lens. which makes panorama stitching more akward |
