Review: I have had the Canon S2is camera for a few days now and i love it! I'm taking pictures of everything i see. I couldn't be more pleased. And the 1G SD card arrived the day after i ordered it! Thanks amazon. The zoom is so good that i took a picture of the HSBC building about 4km away (E3 to E14) and it's crystal clear, i can even see the people inside; It's practically a telescope! :D The plastic casing is certainly not a problem (makes it lighter anyway) and other reviewers talked about the cap falling off; The cap does not click on but it is secure. When you turn the camera on, the part with the lens in it extends out in front. If the lens cap could clip on, the entending part would break the lense cap and probably render it useless. It also does great close ups, and i don't even have the optional close-up lense. The response time is excellent, practically immediate - unlike my old camera which would take the picture 2 seconds after i pressed the button and take another 10s to save it! This camera IS what you're looking for, grab it while you can :) |
