Review: I've had my Creative Zen Sleek MP3 player for a week now, and I absolutely love it. Ive been looking to replace my ageing Zen Xtra 60gb player for a while now, and after buying and returning an iPod (it wouldnt work too well with my PC, and I didnt like certain things) I went for this one. The design borrows a lot from the iPod mini, and is extremely well built and great to hold. The touch pad is a joy to use and the menus are both easy to navigate and full of features. Its extremely easy to setup and install and the Software is excellent, giving you the choice of using the mediasource organiser (a bit like iTunes, for you apple folks) or use the integrated windows explorer setup. Battery life isnt bad either - I got about 10 - 12 hours out of my first charge (and I do mess with the menus a lot and play it loudly!) On the subject of volume, I was glad that its max volume level is adequate - it seems like the E.U. volume limit isnt apparrent for once. I highly recommend this Creative Zen Sleek MP3 player, and I seriously think it gives the iPod a damn good run for its money - in fact, I prefer it. |
