Review: The Digital Dream L'Espion Xtra digital camera is truly a great piece of hardware, When I told my friends that I was getting a digital camera they were all saying things like "what's the point" and "why are you getting one of them?" but when i showed them the size they all quickly took notice and (no doubt) felt a little jealous. The camera is so much fun, and it looks so hi tech and nifty. Wherever I go nowadays i bring along the camera, It's so small I can fit it in my pocket and (at times) forget its even there! It's great, I truly won't miss another one of those "kodak moments" ever again. The picture quality varies, in poor light pictures are poor, in day light pictures come out at there best and in a well lit room the camera does its magic. The picture quality as a whole is not at all bad, my only complaint is pictures tend to be a little dull, But anyone who can use the software provided or use an alternative (I tend to enhance my photos with Paint Shop Pro) can quickly get the best out of there cameras pictures. It's good, it's fun and it's definetly something you'll not be afraid to show off, I'm sure that some people may think the camera only deserves 4 stars because the picture quality isn't earth shattering, but in my view it does the job, the price doesn't make your eyes water and it's the only camera i have ever seen that looks cute... and thats coming from a guy. |
