Review: Decided to go for this Ellion DVR 530S DVD recorder as it has DV IN for my Sony camcorder and a very slim design. Firstly it went faulty after 1 day(going from stdby to on display kept saying 'hello' and nothing else would happen). Phone the warranty support line and they said it was a known fault and it would be 2 weeks to repair. Instead I dropped a quick email to amazon and a new one was delivered afew days later..good old amazon. I am glad I bought it from a reputable website.

My new one works absolutely fine. Very easy to setup, you can be recording within 30 mins from opening the box. From camcorder works perfectly. And it has USB1.1(only up to 64MB though?!).

Very cool for a very good price!
