Review: The only problem I had with this Ellion DVR 530S DVD recorder was that it wasn't multi region, problem solved, make sure there is no disk in the unit and the drawer is closed so the message NO DISC is displyed then on the remote type 7 7 0 a message will appear telling you it is now region 0 (region free)!

The unit now plays all my dvds vcds divx and xvid recordings and also transfers files from my dv camcorder perfectly!
