Review: The Epson Stylus Photo R300 inkjet printer is a heavy printer with built in power supply. With windows 2000 installing was simple, but required several reboots. The photo quality prints are very good. Better results than most consumer internet photo printing services. And quick to. The quality does improve after the first few prints once the ink system is fully charged. The built in camera media reader is great, no PC required just take the media out of a compatible camera press a few buttons and out comes a print. Though it claims to be compatible with microdrives, the media slot is a tight fit. CD printing works well on both 12cm and 8cm printable discs using a plastic carrier. However the paper path is still curved which may limit printing onto card. Don't forget to buy a USB2 lead, one isnt included! Its a new model and the ink isnt easy to find (nearly impossible). |
