Review: I've owned this Epson Stylus Photo R300 inkjet printer for about a month, and have been very impressed with the quality of print. When printing photo's, the pictures come out really clear and full of detail, and with borderless printing the results are just as you see from a professional developer. You can also print direct onto a CD/DVD (using the correct discs). This is really easy to do using the software provided, and the results are amazing. A big plus for this printer over other brands is that the 6 colour inks it uses are separate, which means that if the red ink runs out, you only have to replace the red ink and not the entire set. The ink levels are also shown on screen each time you print, so you'll never be surprised when a photo comes out looking strange. The only downside is that you must use Epson paper for the best results. I have tried HP photo paper as well as other brands, but the ink takes a long time to dry on these, producing blotchy results. But if you use Epson paper, the results are amazing. Saying that, Epson paper is the same price as other brands, so it's not a major issue. Easily the best printer for the money |
