Review: Been playing EverQuest Online Adventures for over a week and the game is still as addictive as ever. Playing this game on your own is not really an option as to get to the later levels requires you to team up with other players to beat bigger monsters. It is in this respect that Everquest stands out. Players can team up in groups of upto 4 to kill the really big monsters that single players would have no chance against. Getting your character to a higher level is done by gaining Experience Points (XP) which is done by completing tasks or helping others complete theirs. Apart from the quests players are also able to pursue trade skills in armour, weapon and jewelry making which they can sell items they have made. EverQuest is the ultimate RPG where the players assisting you are human controlled and therefore fully interactive. The downside is that this game does not appear to be high on Sony's advertising list so players are limited at the moment however when faced with a particular difficult quest I have found no difficulty in finding players to help. |
