Review: Forrest Gump is a truly magical film. It has so much content in its script that it stands out above many, more recent films where there seems to be a distinct lack of plot in the storyline. But Forrest Gump never fails to entertain. Tom Hanks is captivating as the lead character, and it was the first film which nearly had me in tears when Jenny died at the end.I originally bought the film on video, but I now also have a second copy of it on DVD, which enhances the Forrest Gump experience yet further still. Make a point of seeing this film if you haven't already-buy it on DVD-I promise you, you won't be dissapointed. And thanks especially to Winston Groom and Robert Zemeckis for making such a wonderful movie-in my opinion,the best ever-possible. |
