Review: Probably the most important feature of any radio is how it sounds. As portable radios go the Freeplay Devo does not disappoint in respect of audio quality. The wind up charging facility makes most sense when listening to FM as a small amount of winding gives a respectable amount of listening time in that mode. DAB is power hungry so if you want to listen to DAB stations it makes sense to plug it into the mains. The Devo gives you peace of mind in terms of reliability as it is backed by Freeplay's 2 year warranty.
