Review: I have had the this Fuji FinePix 2600 Zoom digital camera for about 6 months now and i can honestly say there are no major faults with it, a couple of niggles maybe, but when all is said and done for the price i can live with them. Picture quality is excellent (although i recommend getting a larger capacity smart media card) especially when you set it to the max, they are crisp, clear, and colours are very natural. When printing on my epson c42ux at 8x10 there is no pixelation and even at A4 they are still acceptable but you can tell its at its limits. Taking pictures is a breeze, there is hardly a pause between depressing the shutter button and the picture being taken, other makes i have used seem to have had some delay but not the Fuji. Build quality is a bit plasticy but nothing to be concerned about, the lens cover will sometimes catch you out by not sliding back fully and carry a spare pair of rechargables, just in case. Easy to use as a webcam and with the abilty to take digital video (no sound though) make this a very desirable bit of kit. A very good and simple way to introduce digital photography into your life. |
