Review: Full Spectrum Warrior on the Sony PlayStation 2 - Summary:- + Great gritty and realistic graphics, lighting and cool cut scenes. + Real Time Strategy combined with War, FPS and Stealth elements. + Atmospheric sound and music combines to create a really good atmosphere. + Controls are brilliant and easy, despite the manual making it look like advanced quantum physics. + Bad language, Blood and all the 'flavour' of real combat. + Will take you some while to complete. The 12 missions and MOUT training are well thought out and complex. + You will actually have to harness the full power of your brain to complete it. - Limited replay value. - Enemies come out of nowhere. - If you forget your 2nd team (Bravo) or forget other elements you will die quickly, painfully and frustratingly. - You don't physically shoot. This ain't no FPS or action shooter. OVERALL: Close to being an absolute masterpiece. Genuinely orginal twist on a previously outdated genre. A must buy for all of you gun stroking war freaks with a moustache that needs combing daily. Highly recommended even if you hate war or RTS games. Because I did before this. |
