| Good Points: Works well, slim design, good software & cheap. Lots of online advice available, easy to repair and upgrade. |
| Bad Points: Out of the box new these units are not perfect, the fans get noisey quickly and the power supplies are rubbish.Luckily an upgraded 5a supply can be bought for £16 and a fan for £4 on ebay. Easy 15 min fix. |

Review: I have had three PACE PVR's that cost twice as much & were all rubbish, constant software faults and power supply failures. I also had a 120gig machine from Lidl but the software was poor so it went back. I now have a Fusion DigiFusion FVRT100 40GB HD with a 40 gig silent laptop drive (no fan) and 5a supply in the bedroom, a 80gig FVRT 200 with a 5a supply in the living room and another FVRT100 with a 5amp supply in the dining room. All now work fine.Buy a used FVRT 100 (£30) and a 5amp power supply (£16)and you will have a bargain machine for under £50. Modified firm ware from the net can change the colour scheme and update easily to the latest firmware. |
