Review: This GNR TS900H 19" TFT monitor looks very smart. It's black and silver and the surround is kept to a minimum so that even though a 19" screen looks enormous the monitor looks neat. The height adjustment feature is really easy to use and makes getting the ideal set up easy. I couldn't find a similar priced monitor with this feature. The display is great. I work with spreadsheets and to get so much on the screen is really useful, speeding up my work by not continually scrolling up and down. I don't play games so can't comment on refresh speeds but I do have a TV card and the display from that is in my opinion better than on the 17" CRT monitor I had before with no noticeable blurring. The colours are bright with a good contrast. Controls are on the bottom of the monitor and are really intuitive, so if like me you just do it and read the manual as a last resort this should suit you down to the ground. So why only 4 stars? On a black screen one of the pixels (from the millions visible) is blue. Picky I know and no doubt Amazon would change it if I could be bothered. |
