Review: I bought this Gaggia 74886 coffee machine about a year ago and was a little unsure at first - a lot of hard work for average espresso with no crema. I accepted this for a year such was my perserverence. The problem: I was using rubbish pre-ground coffee! If you are serious about your coffee, invest another 50 to 60 quid and purchase a burr grinder (not a blade one as these won't grind fine enough for espresso). Yes it is TRUE what you have read - freshly ground beans are an absolute must, believe me! Immeadiately I was rewarded with the best espresso (with plenty of crema) and capuccino, and I haven't looked back since. The machine runs like a dream - I couldn't wish for more. A small tip - make sure you flush out with lime-scale remover ever 2-3 months or so - it is worth the hassle. ENJOY!
