Review: The first thing to note about the new gamboy advance SP is the new styling. Nintendo has made a real effort to appeal to an older market with its gadget/ laptop styling and it really looks the part as it no longer looks like a toy that a person would be embarassed to carry around with them. The most important addition to the SP though is its front light that allows you to play ur favourite gameboy advance games in the dark. Much praise for nintendo for taking this step as it allows the gamer not to just go searching for the light like a drunkard to their local alcholic facility. The d pad is also sturdier than the previous gb advance model and with the same abilities as its processor graphically and its ability to play gb advance gameboy and gameboy color games its a fairly adaptable system. The main reason this product did not get five stars though is that previous gameboy advance owners should seriously wonder as to whether or not they should splash out [money] buying this new console as it uses the same technology aside from the front light. If there was a trade in deal where u could trade in your old gameboy advance for this some money off of this new model then i would have given it five stars. But for all other consumers with this new, Better technology and a great catalogue of games the gameboy advance SP is a must have for both hardcore and casual gamers alike who did not invest the first time around in a GB Advance. Well done nintendo on improving an already winning formula!
