Review: If you aren't already an owner of a Gameboy Advance, now is the time to get your hands on the definitive version of Nintendo's hand-held. BR>First of all, Nintendo have made it far more user friendly with (of course) the backlit screen to banish those times when you needed to sit by a lamp to be able to see, and the rechargeable battery so no more fiddling about with unreliable third-party chargers. Although the flip-top design is new, its very similar to the classic Gameboy layout (d-pad of the left, the two buttons on the right, screen above) which I prefer simply due to the fact I have big hands and the original GBA seemed to have been designed for Japanese people's hands, which was very uncomfortable at times. But it looks like this time Nintendo have nailed the formula now, seeing how well the Gameboy Advance SP has sold. If you don’t already have a GBA this is the one you need. If you have, I recommend you try the SP before you buy. |
