Review: It is strange to say that the GBA SP is seen as the kiddiest of game machines when it possibly has the most sopisticated games of the lot. I will acsess it as best i can for a handheld. Looks: 8/10 Very cool and the screen is fitted just right. Toughness: 7/10 Scratches easily but when the screen is closed it should take lot to brake it. Extra Features: 9/10 It's portable, it has a backlit screen and it has a rechargable batteries that lasts a good 10hours? when charged. And you can link it to the gamecube or another GBA or GBA SP. Controls: 5/10 They do the job. Graphics: 7/10 Nice for a handheld. Mostly 2D but some games just about pull of 3D. Loading Times: 10/10 It uses cartridges so the loadings lightning fast. Game Quantity: 10/10 Thousands. Too many to buy even if you're a billioare. And it plays Gameboy colour/pocket games aswell!!!. Game Quality: 10/10 While there's some real trash, there's some great games also. There's all the old nintendo classics Super Mario World, Zelda A Link to the past. As well as tons of great new games, especially RPG's with the fun Final Fantasy(Tactics, 2 +3) and Pokemon(Ruby and Sapphire). The awesome strategy rpg's Advance wars(1+2) and Fire Emblem and the Underatted Epics Golden Sun and Golden Sun: The Lost Age. Value: 8/10 It's a great console, and £70 isn't too bad, even though you can but a Gamecube for an extra £10. Overall: 9.5/10 Because it had no real consoles to compete with the GBA SP was way overlooked in just how good it was. It is defiently the best handheld console so far created. |
