Review: The Goodmans DVD recorder is a simple affair - no hard drive. If you remember not to push the draw shut,if you do it will not read the disc,so use open/close only.Once you have formated your disc,you can make HQ recordings,that play on a normal DVD player,once finalised!You must use DVD + R disc.If you also remember to plug straight into your Sky Box,it does not recognise a RF signal,on an extension. The quality is really good,even on long play,2 hours recording,it is excellent. I really like the simple way it works each button does one thing,I bought mine £179.00.from Next,you get a real bargain,forget the brand,because under the 'bonnet' it probably uses high specification components.It even records on badly scratched disc,giving excellent playback.This shows error correction is good.Memorex disc,work well in the recorder. If your wanting something simple that,helps you with a menu,go for this machine. |
