Review: This little Goodmans MICRO1104DAB digital radio system is a bargain for anyone on a tight budget. The sound picture is much bigger and brighter than you would expect from the diminutive speakers, and the DAB radio delivers crystal clear clarity. So far, so good. The downsides ? Well, it's undeniable that the low-volume hiss mentioned by another reviewer is always noticeable, along with a rather "bright" treble range. Also, the CD door and the button controls could have been of higher quality, as they don't look as though they will last much beyond the guarantee period. Nonetheless, it's easy to see in this price range why What Hifi gave this digital radio system such a glowing review. "Good man", you might say. |
