Review: Bought this DAB system for some elderly friends. They love it. The high quality sound fills their living room and they can get lots of channels and control volume by pointing the remote control at the wall - they dont even have to turn round from the sofa. The sound is much better than many budget micro systems and for the price its astounding.
However, there is a v. slight hiss when any sound mode other than 'flat' is used. Weirdly, the hiss doesnt get any louder with volume. But my friends are too old to hear the hiss anyway so I put it on 'rock' mode to boost the bass a bit.
Mine didnt come with a glass stand but I couldnt be bothered to tell amazon. Because of this, and the slight hiss, Im only giving four stars.
Overall, you cant beat it for the price. |
