Review: I have said it before and I'll say it again. "Harvey" is the most beautiful and amazing film I have ever seen. James Stewart gives the performance of his extensive career. Like "It's A Wonderful Life", this film is perfect for making you see the best in people even though many parts of it are rather dark. Harvey is the film that makes me laugh, cry and want to hug anyone who's around everytime i see it (and I've seen it hundreds of times). Look out especially for Elwood's monologue of how he met Harvey, my favourite scene of any film. |
