Review: I've hired on three occasions now from Rodgers Plant Hire in Honley, Huddersfield and have been very happy with the service. They stock a wide range of equipment suitable for the keen home DIYer to professional contractors. I've hired a twin drum roller and wacker plate from them. They've been helpful, and flexible on the hire periods - when I had a problem and the wacker plate stopped working, they got the machine fixed and back out to me quickly and threw in some extra days by way of compensation.
Prices seem pretty good - the wacker plate was £41 for the week inc VAT and the twin drum roller worked out at about £130 (inc £10 delivery and £10 collection).
Tip - it's usually not much more to hire a piece of equipment for 1 week than 2 days.
The only minor gripe would be that things such as ear protectors are not included when hiring sonmething like the wacker plate. |
