Review: I only saw this film recently for the first time and was blown away! I loved it! The characters are all so different, yet all the same. Moff is the standout for me, Danny Dyer does a fantastic job playing such a pill-munching screw up. The best thing about the film is it's realism. It describes a clubbing experience which isn't that different to what i've experienced over the years! The film is neither for or against drugs but gives you both sides of the arguement(the doctor vs. Jip scene). The soundtrack is great with a euphoric mix of dance music in the late 90's. Overall, this film is so funny, you'll be crying for days after, especially at Moff, true to life and honest. Favourite scenes: Moff's introduction Koop's vinyl store (Hip Hop vs. Jungle) "Lookin' after my meat?" (Nina at work) "Oi mate, you seen taxi driver?" (Moff "coming up" in the taxi) Breakdancing in the alley "Roni Size is the bollox!" (The house party) The list could go on forever! I've said enough, just buy it!!! |
