| Good Points: Lovely food, convivial atmosphere, reasonable prices. |
| Bad Points: Meal can vary quite a bit from night to night depending on which chef is preparing it. Always nice quality but just different... |
Review: I've eaten at The Monsoon Tandoori Restaurant a number of tuimes and have never been disappointed.
As well as offering the standard range of curries, in keeping with most Indian restaurants, the Monsoon also offers a specials list. In the case of the Monsoon, these are traditional Bangladeshi style dishes.
The atmosphere is very pleasant and fine whether you're looking for a romantic meal for two or a night out for a party.
Prices are reasonable - pilau rice: £2.80, most main courses: £5.95, specials coming in at about £7.00 - £10.00.
The only two (minor) crtiscisms that I would have are that: seasoned curry holics may find the dishes need to be a bit hotter and the specials can vary in preparation from night to night depending on which chef is doing the preparation.
Overall, I'd recommend the Monsoon for its reasonably prices, well prepared food and convivial atmoshpere. |
